Hoping to pick up Xavi tonight as Alonso is a little slow/too defensive for my CM position. (3412)

Else I don't know who to put there. They need to be Spanish or BBVA unless I start changing my LM.

Not played UT in ages, but feel like giving it another go now. Selling both my teams, should hopefully have in the region of 300k, maybe more. I'll build a cheap silver team and then save for TOTY. What do you guys recommend?

Practice in the arena mate. You can take and save penalties in there and also, you can bring up the target recticle.

It works basically on the left thumb stick moving the recticle (moves very slowly at first, then quicker and quicker till you miss, takings timing).

The saving of penalties is guessing the way using the thumbstick, again you can practice this in the arena.

Don't bother.

Build a cheap gold team and have fun with that instead.

So something like:

3 at the back! So brave!

Xavi's probably your best bet although I think he's too weak and slow and his passing isn't *that* much better than Alonso's considering he's weaker and so much more expensive. Saying that, you also have Fabregas who I think is pony on UT.

I love it! I score loads of goals and manage to have decent cover at the back though I have to work hard for it. I found Fabregas to be dire in any other position/formation but he works really well as a box to box player which hopefully Xavi's positioning and passing makes up for it. But we'll see. :)

Hardly brave, more foolish!

I played against a team last night, and the guy thought he was sliced bread.

Played 3 4 1 2. With Higuan, Messi up top, Benzema just behind. Di Maria, Alonso, Masch, Villa, Pique, Puyol, Pepe and Casillas.

He started off, Messi scored one of the ******** goals that he usually scores, celebrated it like an absolute git (arms flailing, watching all the replays, the whole shhhhhhhhh celebration, running around like a loon etc).

I lost my rag and mauled the little *****. I think that was his last shot on target!!! Watched ever replay, celebrated until the last moments, massively tramped it up.

AND IT FELT AMAZING.

3 at the back doesn't work if you come up against a team with two decent quick wingers, as you get exploited down the flanks if your wingers don't track back (Di Maria and Villa aren't defensively minded). This then either leaves your CM's coming out wide to try and stop or worse, your CB's. Either way you're being exposed to giant holes in your back 3, or middle 4. Which good players will be able to exploit.

With 3 at the back you should be able to score goals though! :)

He should have had an IF, he definitely has been on form in the last couple of weeks.

The only IF that interests me this week is IF Bellamy. Hopefully he'll get a speed boost and his shot accuracy and shot power should be good.

Can any one grab his stats from the EA Forums please? :)

I was hoping for IF Sessegnon too. Would be such a beast IF. Is it sad that I whenever Sunderland plays I hope they win with Sessegnon scoring a brace so he gets an IF? :(

Yup on PS3. I saw a couple go for 105k last night so I'm tempted to sell him and make a nice profit.

Apart from reflexes (which is only 1 worse) all of those are either same or better than Joe Hart!! :eek:
