Hi all,

Just got my 3930k rig setup and running...

Currently priming with all threads HT enabled. Now worked it up to 4.6ghz stable on stock volts!! Max temp ive seen on any core is 61 degrees all others sub 60...

This is much better than I was expecting...

As the Riddler once said.. "now that's impressive!".

I reckon you should easily hit the magic 5GHz with a small bump in volts but if you try it then be very careful ;)

Stoner81.

OK droped to 1.35 in the bios which gives 1.33 on windows CPUID reading, 4.6ghz still stable... temps now even lower, nothing going above 58

H100

Just rebooted now @ 4.8 1.35V increased fan speeds to 70%

See what happens....

I don't know but I usually look at my mates - he hits 4.5Ghz on 3930K on R4E with 1.28v, That impresses me :) 24/7 setup - It is the setup I'm aiming for :) fingers crossed when I take the plunge

OK needs 1.34 in BIOS to complete prime for 10 mins + @ this gives 1.31 - 1.315 in cpuid readings on desktop..

Is this going to be safe for 24 / 7?

Thanks in advance chaps

Well I think thats great! Should be safe at 1.34, well within 1.40 Absolute MAX VCC - but your running a 4.7Ghz 24/7?

What temps are you getting?

Maybe you can save some electricity and see if it makes a huge difference in voltage in order to run 4.5Ghz?

Up to you, but nice results!

Been priming for 15 mins now max temp on any core 63 degrees.

Just looking at the screen though they are all sub 60....

H100 (only started using it this week no previous experience) is the best cooler I have worked with outside custom water... And having said that, my 980x under custom water would have been pretty high doing this....

Looks good.... (Awesome) to me. Anyone else?

Cheers dude, my gut instinct says I could go over 1.35 as the CPU is not hot , not are the VRM's as far as I can tell - heatsinks on them only luke warm.

But this should do for 24/7, cant be bothered to run slower as im rarely using this rig to "surf" it is there for serious abuse, the laptop does the mundane....

Take your point though would be interesting to see how much I can slacken it by @ 4.5....
