*** Official OcUK Minecraft Server - Discussion and Rules ***

ahh ok, then please accept my apologies for pointing it out then Trix.

I just wanted to make sure that as I am (or was if it is now banned) one of the people taking them, that I wasn't doing any damage to the fortresses structure themselves. Did they find who did the blaze spawner damage? I know the one near the portal we use, phosgene improved it to give it more protection etc.

It seems we pretty much agree anyway :)

Is it possible for areas of the nether to be "re-spawned" periodically, i.e. like the old unstable land? If so you could designate one fortress as a plunder-u-like zone to be ripped to shreds and then respawn it as and when, for those who want to build up stocks of these rare blocks.

I was talking to Maxi about a similar thing for glowstone, however the limitation was that glowstone cannot be "regenerated" easily. It may be different for nether fortresses though.

And he's deleted the rest of the world around him - what kind of hax0ring is this?!

The easiest way (from my point of view as an admin that does the backend work on the server rather than in game admin) to do this would be to identify some chunks that could be deleted as needed. They would then regenerate pretty much perfectly.

Disadvantage to this is that it'll kill everything within that chunk so we would have to (as has already been suggested) have a section of the map that would be clearly marked as unstable. Is there a particular corner of the nether that people could identify for this use? We can then investigate possible stuff. Another problem might be if people have builds on the surface that go into that bit of the nether - it could be a serious problem for them so it might make it unworkable.

Ignoring the fact at how close these guys have built around our sandstone temple/base. Literally 2 blocks from it...

Placed a sign inside our temple saying they know what are game is? (clearly didnt read the sign about stay out or die/ban..)

There is a ladder down to our xp spawner, which they broke and built a sheep farm, so the ladder is now unusable, pic of the hole/broken ladder.

Inside the cave spider xp spawner, they have built a walkway through it (this was fully enclosed/dark):

The spawner block removed.

4. sorry for mining!

p.s i had nothing to do with the mob spawner getting deleted!

It's clear in the server rules that you should not build on other people's land without their permission. People shouldn't have to ask you to rebuild - you shouldn't have knackered the area in the first place.

If the area hasn't already been repaired by the players or an admin by the time your 3 day suspension expires you should go and correct all the damage or at least provide replacement materials/help (if they ask for it) to the player's whose build you damaged.

I only added a few blocks at your xp spawner so I could pass by the spawner I also sealed it up when I passed through it. I was just down there mining in the mine. I also didn't touch your ladder. If you didn't want people to start building near (not on) your building you should have built it further away from spawn or marked out an area/signed it tbh.

That isn't correct. Please see my reply above your post.

Please tell me exactly what I did wrong here because the way I see it I didn't build close to his building what makes this difficult is you don't define a distance and with this being right beside spawn I think my distance is reasonable.
