HP 2311gt or LG D2342P-PN

I have decided to get a new monitor but have been looking at these monitors that use Tridef 3D that is capable with ATI cards. I have never seen a 3D game before or a movie and these screens offer the non flicker 3D (like in the cinema i believe) that does not strain your eyes. So i think any type of 3D apart from the red and blue glasses would be a good thing for me.

I am looking at these two monitors, i know the LG is compatible with a PS3 ( i may get one for the blu ray and exclusive games) But has anyone got one of these monitors? Which company make the best Monitors? i am leaning towards LG because its cheaper.

I can't find any reviews anywhere from good technology sites so any info would be great, from owners too. thanks guys hope you can help.

i own the LG,its nice monitor,excellent image quality & passive 3D works great specially for movies.MW3 MP is more fun in 3D.the only thing i wish it had is 120hz refresh rate for smoother 2D gaming.

Nice reply there mate, what is the picture quality like in 2D? Im going to order it now i think.

once i enabled the 3D picture boost from the menu i think 2D picture quality is the nicest i have seen.
