Hi guys a mate of mine has just upgraded his gfx to a 460gtx. However he did not check his psu and he is now having stability issues.

I have asked him to check his Psu and its 350watt dell one.

Does anyone know if these dell psu's are good enough, and if not what should he look at getting that issub £50

Cheers.

A 350w dell(or OEM) PSU probably can't source enough power on the 12v rail for a GTX 460. He'll need a new PSU ASAP. Tell him to take that 460 out and use his old card until he gets a new PSU.

It will do but I've heard ppl complain about ocz branded PSUs. The xfx one I linked will be top notch if he can stretch. Or maybe a 450w antec or a corsair
