Just a heads up guys. As there are a few bronze IF's I'd say it's definitely worth splurging a bit on some bronze packs. I buy them anyway but now I could get an IF I might buy a couple more! :p
 
Got to the final of the cup there to meet a guy who had the best team i had seen, Messi, Ronaldo, Drogba, Lampard etc, he was terrible though, the game was really laggy, I must have hit the post and bar about 6 times but couldnt break him down.

I dont understand why people spend that kind of coin on guys like messi and ronaldo if they dont use any skill moves. Its bonkers.

You'll find the best teams are used by the worst players.

Good games dude. It's difficult to break you down when you have 5 defenders, especially when the central defence is packed with Luiz, Toure and Kompany who are three of the most infuriating CB's to play against. I think the only thing that would make that team more annoying is Richards at LB. :p

You played well, you keep the ball quite well and it gets frustrating, can't believe how many times you hit the post in the last game, definitely you deserved to win it and I think you were robbed by Eto'o, still I'm not complaining! Also, it might just be me, but when we played at my stadium I seemed to play much better, when we played in your stadium you were much more dominant. Odd.

I did have Richards at RWB for a few of the games :D it really did feel like playing in our own stadiums we had a big home advantage. Your defending and pressing was top notch, very difficult for me to play any dangerous passes. I really need to learn a few tricks, overall the games were fairly even (bar the first game :o), but I'm sure if we played with more evenly rated teams you would have destroyed me. If you ever see me online drop me a message and we can have a couple of games. I may switch my formation once the price drop occurs, no idea what to go for though.
 
ok, something very random is happening, i just opened 3 packs (7500) instead of the usual 12 items, its generated 16?! this has happened in two out of the three.

got 52k to spend on a special CM.

was looking at modric at 50K, nasri for 39k, VDV 42K.

i have two defensive CMs so an attacking style cm is what im after.

any other suggestions?
 
I tried Modric and Nasri, much preferred Modric as he seemed much more involved during my games. I couldn't really get anything out of Nasri. As a cheap option you could try Arteta? He could link up with Song and Torres, could be useful to rotate when you decide on your expensive attacking CM. He is a bit slow for most players, but for me he has good passing and chips in with goals.

Ah did you? Didn't notice him playing which is strange because usually he gets right on my nerves, though I did try not to go on runs with Arshavin down the flank as his pace lets him down a bit, but I keep him in the team as his short passes seem alright and I like his dribbling. Thanks for the compliments, the games were all really close, even the first game was close in the first half, I think in the second half I got a lucky break and then your head dropped, definitely closer than the scoreline suggested though!

That formation suits you, you should stick with it unless you just fancy something new. Even though you had 5 at the back you seemed to attack in numbers and it was really difficult to defend against! Also, were you switching formations in-game at certain points? Thought I saw Luiz go into the midfield area and stay there quite a few times. We'll definitely play again though, always up for having games against fellow Arsenal fans and fellow OcUKers. :)
