Plenty of college mates have done this when they were drunk, they keep saying that the pointer moved and that it shot off the table when they had let go of it.

I find it is almost exclusively women who believe in guff like this. Psychics, mediums, ouija boards, tarot cards, astrology...they lap it up. Bonkers.

I've noticed this too. Especially when it comes to plainly ridiculous newspaper horoscopes, crystals and such.

People like Uri Geller make millions from them with all sorts of false claims, no doubt. What is it about the ladybrain that makes a higher percentage of them go for these shennanigans?
