£3000 spec for a Rig

Hi All thanks for the advice so far yes did first post this in the Gen Hardware but on advice have come across here, from what I have read so far from what I want to be doing I will need the cooling set up before I work out the rest of the system, know this may sound backward but as I am new to this level of computer tech it seam to work for me, any advice is wanted
Will I be able to get Oc.Uk to build this machine for me or will it Cost a fortune to have them do it and should I take up Shayper( Thanks for that not to far from london myself) offer to help build it myself.
TO answer the question so far about tube colour and fluid, would go for green.
Fan controller Yes.
Thinking about this is a little bit of a catch 22 I want a machine to be able to run Eyefinity and to be able to play games at a good speed, so need to know what is first to look at the cooling side or the build performance, want to do this once and it to work for a while.
When you say get a 6 core CPU, something like the I7 3930 X79, I7 3960 X79 or I7 970 X58?
With the card was looking at Oc.Uk site and the OcUK Tech Lab H2O GeForce GTX 580 3072MB GDDR5 (please correct me if I am wrong here but will I be able to do an Eyefinity set up with these cards and sure I was told in a thread that the 580 is 3D and I would need ATI cards for Eyefinity, but have also seen a set up with Quad 580s)
Will also follow the other lead to see what card I can cool.
Still reading up between the AMD and ATI cards and which way to go so any help would be good ( know its a little off topic but would want to water cool this and want to know which also woud perform better with cooling )
Think I am looking at cooling the Graphic card and CPU. Anyone any idea or the cost the 7960's will be?
Think I am getting a good idea of the build for CPU.GPU and lots of RAM, but the basic like rest??? With something like this build , know I need loads more research and am doing it , but quick question should I look that I will have to build it myself with help from you guys or how good are the guys from OcUK ( sorry if any of you take offence none intended )at building a spec Water-cooled machine.
Also with what I am planning on running am I 100% going to need water cooling?
just to answer the last post 3k is for the system , have another budjet for the Monitors, also will only need max SSD 250GB as have a lot of SATA II external hardrives for storage from my HTPC set up, (got a little carried away with storage there so dont think i will ever run out.)
Thanks for the info, more research to be done.

The OcUK watercooled 580 is a bit expensive.

For the price of three you could get 4 6970's and blocks.

And if you can get the parts I would be happy to build it for you :)

I like a challenge, me. Already have an idea how to get quadfire with one GPU on a loop with the CPU :D

The more i read the less i seam to understand the difference between cards,GPU's , i mean , i know i am off topic a little but see on pc pro site review that the 6990,which is two 6970 stuck together , card is less expensive than the GTX 590, which is two 580 stuck together.and the 7970 is the new card and its cheaper
Like your idea of 4X6970's and blocks , what MB would you suggest and would we look at cooling that also?
liked your post how to water cool , very helpful.
like the idea of the help to build this machine , think i am narrowing down the list of MB and GPU,
How much noise are we talking about also with the pumps running and the 4x card running?
cheers

These links should help:

I'd recommend an Asus rampage 3 extreme mobo.

Are you even going to use 4x 6970's?

No point having them if you only use one!

He's running 3*30 inch monitors. :p

As for the mobo, Asus rampage 4 extreme. You can get a hexcore processor and all 4 GPUs running together nicely. Can also get motherboard blocks for it :)

bitter? ;) TJ11 is dead lmao

No it isn't!

He's running 3*30 inch monitors. :p
570SLI or 580 4GB SLI would also be fine. 3 cards max TBH

Yes, but that won't fit in the budget!

For quadfire, which you will need for 3*30", I would go dual loop. One for 3xGFX, and one for 1xGFX, CPU and whatever else you want to cool. Which means 2xLaing D5 pumps, two reservoirs, and a lot of tubing and fittings. For the GFX loop I would suggest a 480mm rad at least, if possible get a 480 and a 240 with push pull fans for maximum heat dissipation. For the CPU and GFX loop, I would go with a 360mm rad. This will all fit comfortably in the TJ07.

With going for the quad GPu's and the Asus MB you suggest(£470) , will the Rad set up here be enough ? and what Hex processor do you mean ?
Also will i be looking at condensate problems at all and what do you think of "dragon skin " , read about it in another thread , self leveling latex to cover everything to prevent any condensate getting into trouble.
and
Now to case are there are clear cases that i would be able to mount this all in and can see this becoming quite a large case

no, you won't

to go with a 480 and 240 rad push pull that will 12 fans if i have got right?and 14 if i go for the 360, What fans would you recommend?
min amount of noise and What controller ?
Now with that mnay fans and everything else what sort of power supply would i need somthing like a 1200w ?
Now with the case like the look of the Mountain Mods U2-UFO , very Blake 7 looking ,
Was looking at the i7 X79 3960 is it worth the extra from the 3930?

As a mad idea as its late in the evening , what are your thoughts of having the cooling, rads, fan and tubing in a separate Built caddy next to the main machine with everything pumped into and through that ?
thanks for the list so far , reading away

I've toyed with the idea myself, but decided it would look crap.

Um, a 480 and 360 can fit in the bottom section Cleeecooo, been done before.

As for triple screen, he'll need all the power he can get.

So, OP, if you decide what hardware you would prefer, I can then spec you up the entire watercooling loop, with diagrams as to how the loops would work.

Hi will put the list together later this afternoon have good idea what i will go for but sure people will help me if i am off a llittle on my choices

Ok mate, if you show the hardware and cooling choices then I will let you know what's best to change :)

Hi would be looking at the x79 board( Asus rampage IV or Gigabite )( needed to read more as see there are quite a few different ones and prices on each of these bits ) , 3930 processor as the 3960 is a lot and 3x GTX580'S , 32RAM (4X8GB), Blu ray reader
Case not sure liek the look as i said about the Mountain mods U2 UFO , says it will take the rads 2 x 360 and 1x120 ( http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-008-MM) will differ to you guys for help with set up of fan/Rad config and push pull set up .
what do you think of the spec i have chosen so far?
Thanks

Not particularly easy though.Needs a small PSU

580 tri SLI will cut it easily :)
