Play a well moderated servers? I was on a relatively empty 64 man server the other night (10/64 iirc) and we were having a great game (lasted an age though) but there was this one chap who kept murderising me in his tank, from all over the show. Was convinced he was hacking and nearly ragequit... until I realised he had thermal optics
Come across very few cheaters in BF3 it must be said. GG on UKCS tonight
is that crossfire aswell?

obvious cheaters are obvious, the person locky is talking about doesnt even shoot you the kill feed just says he did and you die, 122-0 in 1 game

I seem to find a lot of very unbalanced servers where one team totally dominates. Doesn't really make for an enjoyable game. Best games are where it ebbs and flows though too many teams are happy to pin the other side in the base and treat it like a duck shoot. Some say better team play is needed but that can't be the whole story.
This game needs some sort of match making system so you can load servers with other players of similar experience / skill. Otherwise Dice are missing out on a whole audience for who this game is not accessible or enjoyable.
Probably also needs the sniper rifles nerfing a little so less people run around 1 shot killing from the hip. There's talk of hard core being more realistic ... since when do people run around with sniper rifles in close combat? Only in a game.
Last game I was in was one team of Colonel's v.s. noobs in the 1-20 ranks. Noob team was pinned in the spawn point getting spawn killed within 2 minutes. I just quit servers loaded like this ... but not before encouraging everyone else on the team to quit too.
Think it's time I hang up my BF3 boots. I enjoy about 1 in 5 games and that's just not enough. I don't care if I win or lose as long as the game is fun and there some push and shove around the points so you get to fight for something and get a few kills. Loaded servers suck and far to many of them are loaded. I was on one of the popular servers in here earlier for half and hour and the other team was full but had experienced air support. Team I was on had given up trying to fly much so the other team were happy using choppers and jets to kill people trying to get into the battle. Totally one sided and again not that much fun if you spend most of you're time at the spawn screen.
Have tried all the suggestions from here for gaming style, pace etc. but unless there is some way I can start to enjoy more games I can't see the point in investing more time.
I have Rage, Metro and half of Boarderlands to complete .... and the OH got me MW3 for the xbox for some unknown reason ...

Get a clue, BF3 is the most hacked/cheater infested battlefield yet, mainly thanks to the awful client side hit detection. 90% of the extreme game breaking cheats you see in BF3 are not possible in BC2 and BF2/2142 due to them having server side hit registration.
