Whats the best photoshop and Flash training software or book?

I've started a new job and the boss is interested in creating flash and photoshop graphics. However i lack skill in both apartments and would like to train myself up.

Can anyone recommend me some good training software or books that i could purchase or use?

Just look at tutorials online, it will teach you everything you need to know

or you could take a look at lyndia.com tutorials. You need to buy them, but they really help.
