Look what was waiting for my when I got home this morning

For those of you who were wondering, yes the H100 does fit in the HAF 922, very close to the motherboard though (maybe only a 10mm gap)

Why everyone complains about the stock H100 fans being loud I have no idea, I have the side of my case off and the H100 set on full whack and I personally don't think its very loud at all (once I sorted out the rattle from a few loose screws) The loudest it gets is while booting it sounds like it goes into overdrive for a few seconds

Before anybody says anything, yes I know the cabling is a mess but thats the price you pay for buying a non-modular supply lol

Currently sitting at temps around 21 -27 at idle, down from 34 - 41 with the stock Intel cooler

Lol sorry, I mean't non-modular, all cables already attached to the PSU. The cable that connects to the top of the motherboard only just reaches, I need a few extension cables if I'm going to tidy it up

The corner of the box is damaged, instant return!

Why would I do that? it might have a slight mark on it but it's hardly what I would consider damaged, its not like it's got a hole in it or something, and it was shrink wrapped when it arrived

I suspect that comment was tongue-in-cheek :p

Also, idle temps don't mean much - post some load temps, preferably a 10+ IBT max run. Looks pretty good though.

Only 2 days but I didn't get it from OCUK as they were out of stock, otherwise I would have. Cables ties help but I've got so many unused molecular cables I've just tied them behind the motherboard. Just running some burn tests, will post up figures in a minute

How is the H100 as compared to something like the Gelid Tranquillo? Is it worth the extra cash if you plan on overclocking?

I've tidied up the cabling as best I can, but I'm definitely going to have to go modular in the future. Just struggling with were to plug the cables from the H100 fans in, at the moment they're plugged into the H100 as I've already got 2 200mm fans plugged into the molex's on the PSU.

Intel Burn results below

Standard Test

Very High

Haven't run Maximum test yet because the "Very High" test took ages. Temps went from 24c @ idle to 45c whilst running the "Very High" test

So can someone interpret these results then?
