Iran will be allowed to persue a civil nuclear programme with support from Russia, closely monitored by the UN. After recent sanctions Iran recently said they are happy to open negotiations again.

The London 2012 Olympics will be spectacular, followed by a typical and thorough British scuritiny of the event. Papers will go wild.

Barrack Obama will serve a second term as President of the USA. He will win by a small margin.

The world will not end in 2012.

And if I can take a punt - Germany will have a referendum to leave the Euro!
