Weight will be a factor:
Every 5kg extra weight you carry is going to cost somewhere in the region of 0.1 - 0.2s per lap.
Rye house use pro karts, so they have 2 x ~5.5hp generator engines, but are relatively heavy. Indoor karts generally have a single 5-7hp engine. For comparison, something quick like a rotax/easykart has more like 35hp from a much more responsive 2 stroke engine and is significantly lighter yet even in those you aim to run as close to the weight limit as possible!
Unfortunately, you may also find there is a significant performance difference between the best and worst karts (over a second per lap from best to worst kart wouldn't be unusual). However, I would expect that the best drivers will still be at the front regardless of weight/kart.
Wet weather is a great leveller too - weight is much less of an issue (what you lose in acceleration you gain in grip), and a driver can more than make up for a poor kart.
You'll all have fun regardless - Rye is a good technical circuit and a race with 25 drivers of mixed abilities is always entertaining
