Big macs bigger?

Maccy D's chips and burger kings burgers ;)

This, the perfect combination. There used to be a McD and BK not far from each other when I was at college so i'd go to both :D.

I get emailed vouchers for BK all the time. BOGOF Angus burgers and whoppers .

Oh and I think portions are generally larger in the US. Places like Denny's serve you loads and everything is coated in cheese. Its also open 24/7.

I have extended family in Houston, Texas & have asked them this question before, from what they say, the size varies in Maccy D's from State to State.

Alas, I can't say its one thing I'd bother to ckeck when over there - the last place I'd choose to eat in the states is a McDonalds!

I totally agree with you buddy! If I'm having a Maccy D's, I'll ask for their single or double cheeseburger. Their fries are nice though but it irks me that they rarely give me the ketchup even though I asked for some in the order, then I have to ask again.

Their chips are rotten! all soggy and mushy...

Only thing I like from there now is Chicken Select.... Which is strangely amazing! Otherwise I am a MASSIVE BK fan (had every beef thing on the menu as I don't cheat on meat...)

It changes everywhere, I've eaten in many different countries including the USA, EU, UK, and Korea. There are general trends for countries, such that Korea has smaller portions from my experiences vs the UK. Sizing is variable.

A Big Mac is a Big Mac. The size doesn't vary from State to State, if it did the nutrition information on the website would be out and, well, it just wouldnt be a Big Mac.

I've never noticed variation in portion size from State to State either. McDonalds appears to be the same wherever you go - East Coast or West.

I'm definately not into the whole food tourism thing so tend to eat far too many McDonalds etc when I go over there, so I'd have noticed :p

Big Mac's are a rip off anyway, a Double cheeseburgers nicer and all your paying for is a fancier bun with an extra piece of stale bread in the middle

Big Macs are the same. After they stopped the supersize option in the UK I never ate there again :p Glad to be in the home of the super-size, though now In 'n' Out is basically on a different level of awesomeness.

Texans are weird anyway.....a Big Mac is a Big Mac.

I remember when I went to florida 10 years ago, in the magic kingdom they had a stall that sold ONLY macdonalds super size fries.

Was awesome.

The difference between America and England is that the american's expect decent service and they will do what it takes to get it. In England we accept what we are given. The quality of the food served up in fast food places is substantially better over in america. Particularly their subways. I wouldn't know so much about mcdonalds as i've not had it since I was 11 and I can't remember what it was like in america too well then.

But my point is, England's fast food is atrocious.

I went Orlando in 2004 and everything was bigger, remember they had supersize and I dont think it was introduced over her by then. They had drinks on tap, which local drive through in Wigan does now but the one in town centre does not, drinks dispenser is behind the counter

They even had automatic bins so when you went near the push lid, it would open for you, how lazy can you get.
