hi guys
After the cheapest card for battlefield 3 for the boys computer . Low spec machine Amd X2 6000+ the system around 5yr old
Not after a card running in high setting just after a card to run in low etc !
Which will be the cheapest ?
 
2nd hand 5770's can be picked up for £50 which are enough for for your needs but it would be bottlenecked by that CPU. How much are you looking to spend and what res?

I think BF3 would laugh at the card. You're probably looking at the 5770 or 460 like stated above.
 
A second hand 4890 1Gb or something along those lines would be a cheap purchase for the performance (not much different to GTX 460 but only DX10). Probably be had for £40 - £45.
 
My friend bought a 5570 1GB GDDR3 and he runs BF3 smoothly at 720p on low. He does have an i5 2300 though. I would recommend a 5670 1GB GDDR5 and you will be set..
 
you need to state what resolution your playing at,you wanna be looking at 5k series cards and upwards for ati and gtx 4 or 5 series imo
