Okay, so I remember watching a tv show in school around the mid 90s. I can't remember much about it except there was a big black bird thing, whom I'm pretty sure was the bad guy or something, that made me think of Freddy Krueger possibly due to having long almost claw like hands.

Does anyone remember anything like that? Been doing my head in for days and I've tried every google imaginable with no results.

Please help!
 
I remember a similar one, but it had a dragon in it (the goody) and two kids as well who got to this weird world by jumping into a picture/graffiti on a wall.

Why they were showing this to us, and what the message may have been was totally lost on me though and is to this day.
 
Was it Knightmare? That's the only thing that sprung to mind. Any more info? Animated or live action? Quiz type show or drama etc?
