so atm ive got a 920@4gz and a 5870@default clocks

now im thinking about adding a NB/SB block and a couple of mosfet blocks to my loop..

ATM i have a 360 rad but should i drop in a 240 to keep temps down or will it be ok as is

case is corsair 600D btw

Firstly, there is nothing to be gained from cooling your mobo except looks. Secondly, it really depends how your temps are now as to whether another rad is required, however, it wont do any harm.

Yea its just i got to thinking that the extra heat taken off the mobo could increase the overall loop temp,
making the cpu/gpu run hotter in the process.

Te 360 will be done for CPU and GPU. As hyburnates said, mobo and ram cooling is pointless.

Doing something for aesthetic reasons doesnt mean its pointless or we would all have little cream coloured cases with no windows ;)

But do you think adding a mobo block would increase overall temp enough to justify adding a second rad, either 120 or 240

affraid not. i had wanted the Bitspower full block but they want silly money for them + shipping from US
and i want it to match my ek gpu block and HK cpu so it has to be black and copper really,
even this is becoming a pain sourcing board and mosfets

No they only have the nickel and copper plexi,
ive only found two places in the uk that have them in black.
obviously id prefer to get them from here if possible, whos the OcUk buyer
