Best American football game on Xbox360?

Do you follow nfl closely? If you do then the latest Madden games are the best (wait until after superbowl for cheaper price in game etc).
If not pick up Madden 09 because I feel it has the easiest play call selection for beginners.
NCAA is a far better game imo but you can't get it in europe and thus can't play on a pal xbox, but can on ps3.

Have you played Madden 12? There is something called gameflow which automatically picks the best play for you then a coach explains why they have chosen that and how to use that play effectively, If you know what you are doing and want to pick your own plays you can just turn it off,
it's by far the best NFL game by a long shot, It's fun with or without knowledge of the game
I have become so bored with the Madden series, I bought Madden 12 on release and I could count on one 1 hand how many times I have played it. It's just the same thing every year with minor changes but at the same time they have no competition so why bother putting the effort in I suppose. If you haven't played a lot of the Madden series, go ahead and grab Madden 12. A decent alternative would be Backbreaker, the gameplay mechanics absolutely shatter what Madden has to offer but they have no licensing rights so don't expect to see any of the stars you're familiar with in the game.
Cool I haven't actually played it. The reason I mentioned 09 was that imo out of all the Madden games I have (05,07,09,10 and have played 11) it lays out the play calls in the quickest most logical way. But it might be because it's the one I played the most overall..
