Does anyone else's audio go "silent" after a while? It's not total silence, but you can't hear your own footsteps, gunfire, rounds whizzing past you etc, but you can still hear some stuff like jets and vehicles.

I suspect it's my CPU being "overloaded" and it drops the audio process in favour of UI, but it could also just be a bug I guess.
 
So I've had people complaining about my scar h and irnv again. all ill say is, i get as good stats with various guns and scopes most with higher k/min than i get with the scar.

i get 0.99 kills per min with scar
1.0 kills /min with a91
1.45 k/m with m416

Basically if Im using the scar on you Im already taking it easy on you. Don't cry like a little girl. I see so many helicopter whores, rpg spammers etc yet i don't complain.
 
Grenade launcher is too easy to kill 2-3 people at a time especially on smaller map sections. It makes using it all the more satisfying.

Not really complaining, just pointing out that is about all you seem to use ;)

And no longer the best gun after it got nerfed which is backed up by your figures.

Agreed people just need to accept the game for what it is.

I used to use the irnv, it makes spotting enemies so easy. If like me youre someone with slightly slower reactions then that can really help.

However i stopped using the irnv fairly early on because i got fed up of shooting the orange men in my green world. In other words i was running ultra but who could tell. I never got to admire the lovely graphics of this game @ 1080p and all ultra settings.

Now i use the acog mainly. I dont think im very good with it though, sometimes i end up changing mid match but i can never find a sight i like even after playing the game for all this time.

hehe u got me with a unreal shot yesterday i was on mountain couldnt hardly see me i saw you under me and i launched a rocket at your face it hit you but you didnt die and just span 360 and shot me once and i died :D

proper close rage quit that one :p

similar one on niel as soon as next map started i ran of totally different direction from everyone else . seen few of enemy i put about 6-8 shots in the person then niel just shoots me no kill :confused:

even said to niel i give in :D

Haha. Oh man. This happens to me so often.

I know ive had a shocker when i see an enemy first and have plenty of time to kill them but still muck it up.

I open fire, hit or miss the enenmy and they just casually turn round without a care in the world and kill me with ease after ive emptied most of a clip on or around them.

I say around them as sometimes i panic and start shooting wildly and end up missing by about five foot. I almost feel like i should apologise in these instances sometime.
 
Was on smogsy last night too,think the team lost three maps in a row starting off with metro then grandbazaar,did manage to flank them on metro when they started some spawn raping and come top couple of times :).

Whenever this happens to me I get flashbacks from Pulp Fiction where the bullets all seem to miss Samuel L Jackson and John Travolta and then they fire back.

Haha i remember that incident, i was going to reposte with 'RPG NOOB' but i know what you mean. I also knew where you'd be firing from too, hence i just swung round and went for u. There have been times before where i have point blank shot an RPG into the floor right next to a bad guy and he's not died and i have.

Thats why i dont RPG people unless its necessary any more..Some games it seems that people just keel over and die after 4-5 bullets others im trained on them forever and they dont go down...

No some people seemed 'unhappy' they must have visited my stats page and seen the number of service stars ive acquired with it etc At the end of the day on most maps, except Metro, i prefer engineer because without RPG i feel too vunerable to vehicles. The SCAR just seems to gel with how i fire even with nerf the recoil just seems to roll with how i move the mouse making kills more easy and predictable for me.

Tried ACOG on the m416 as it was the first scope i got for it, wasnt happy i prefer RDS or IRNV...Metro = RDS map, most others IRNV is better, but sometimes i just roll with RDS for the hell of it.
