Are the only cards available tomorrow going to be reference? Is it worth waiting for non-reference? Or is the stock cooler quiet?
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
They'll almost certainly all be reference. Typically non-reference cards don't appear on the market for a good while. Are the only cards available tomorrow going to be reference? Is it worth waiting for non-reference? Or is the stock cooler quiet?

They are all the same.
Bar Asus as they have their own BIOS which allows for much higher clocks, but you can flash any card with the Asus BIOS and get same results.
Any idea how long until OcUK will be getting in non-reference designs? Just wanting this as my main GPU in the new rig, and am waiting just for this to be released
I need 2 in crossfire overclocked to power my monitors. Should just about do it.
Why not just get a GTX 590 insted of messing around with crossfire. I am a believer of getting the best single card before bothering with crossfire/sli. and you wouldn't have to wait either. Unless you need HD audio ofcourse.
I am gettng a 30" when I get this card. I would get the nVidia if I could afford £700 but as I can't just the one 7970 for me.
a 590 is an sli card cos its 2 gpu's. You need a 580 3gb to avoid that
ah fair point. not too up on the nVidia GPUs. ignore me.
Price is official. £462.
No longer is the nVidia option the default one for anyone but rabid fanboys, now you can buy a Radeon again and know that you have the single-GPU card of choice. At around £400 it's GTX580 money, but with better than GTX580 performance. Hats off to AMD. Gold worthy.
A stunning card that is only improved by the overclocking. Of course it gets the OC3D Gold Award.
