My PC just struggled to start? WTH?

I just left it idle. So it went to sleep I guess, then struggled to boot.

Yes. But what's the problem I'm scared to turn my PC off ..

Okay just checking. Sounds very odd to me. I'd turn it off, check all the power cables etc...
It may of just been a funny 5 mins... PCs can be strange

I'm not turning it off, until I get a definate answer haha. Too worried to do so, but as I said it's like 2 days old.

You can't get a 100% answer I am afraid. We can't see your machine etc, but I can say I have suffered in the past once or twice a machine not waking from sleep/hib.

Yeah I understand. Going to have to admit I don't know! Someone will know what to try. As you weren't there it's difficult to know what actually happened without it happening again to see what caused it. It may not happen again anyway!
But I understand, be safe for now.
It's worried the hell out of me. Funny thing is, I uplugged it, switched it off at the back and then when it finaly loaded, it loaded up my same session as when I left it idle?

Sounds like hibernation to me. That actually turns it off unlike sleep and saves the current state to the HDD iirc

I know you don't want to. But try a restart? You can't just keep it on forever in fear!
But why wouldn't it boot? It kind of done a sequence.
Fan would spin, last for 1 second turn off.
Fan would spin, stayed loaded for 2 seconds.
Then kind of built up and finaly loaded up.
Computer restart, or power off and on.

Either I would try. Sorry I've got to go but I hope you find the problem.

At least there is some Power to the PC. Follow steps 4 to 6 in the Check list below.
As above, is the everything appears ok with the connections and the PSU, then it’s looking like a faulty motherboard.
Just got that from another thread, seems my motherboard is faulty after being a few days old lol
