Well if some of you guys remember, I had some nasty issues last year with the love of my life and she broke up with me through her mum a few weeks before we were to move to New Zealand. I'm not going to go into more details that that. If you wish, read up lol.
Anyway with that outcome, I continued my move to Auckland to start a new job in an awesome place on my own.

Yesterday (9/1/12) I finally started my new job!
Working as a site IT support guy for a mega $ school in the city.
Definatly more pay than I was on, people are really nice and it's awesome!
The weather is a bit bad but you get use it. It's like England haha for the amount of rain.

I just want to thank you guys again for pushing me to go and I really am enjoying it.
I haven't got homesick yet, miss my family but thats it. I don't feel like going back to the UK. Maybeit will hit me in a few months, who knows.

Anyway I better dash, now time to go to work haha.

Well done for doing it, I'm only 21 and wish for nothing more to work abroad. Australia is my 1st choice but my grandad lived in New Zealand for many years when he worked and I wouldn't mind a move there either.

Nice to hear did you get the ring back to flog for dosh but either way glad you have started a new chapter in your life and every success to you.
 
Glad to hear everything is going well - good on you! Not wishing to make you dwell on the past, but out of interest did she ever tell you why?
