Yes, I know, tell you something you don't already know.

Their latest stunt is to send me a tax reminder for the EP3 I sold in November. This is 4 weeks after they sent me a letter saying they are aware I am no longer the registered keeper. :rolleyes:

To top it all off, they've spelt my name wrong on the Accord's V5, even though my handwriting is pretty clear. It's not the first time ether, had it two times with my old DC5 when changing address.

Funny enough we just got a tax reminder for a nissan micra we sold over 3 months ago, we received a letter saying they acknowledged the sale a month ago. Guess it takes them 4-6 months to update records these days :rolleyes:

When I sold my last car I got a letter from them saying along the lines of;

"Please take this letter as acknowledgement that you are no longer the registered keeper... Please ignore any tax reminders as it can take our systems a while to update as letters are pre-printed...", something like that.

Did you guys not?

yeah i got that but even so i think with it being over 3 months (actually its nearer 4 months) you would have thought the tax reminder system would have been updated. You would allow a few weeks for letters generated in advance not a few months.

I had a letter reminding me to tax my 306 that I'd sold 2 months previously, on the same day as a letter advising me I was no longer the registered keeper of said car. Clever stuff.

They must run the most archaic of systems there.

Even their phone menu system is ridiculous; silly amount of options on every menu level, spoken in such a fast way that you have to wait for the voice to repeat itself, all on a "lo call" phone number.

/rage.

Given that you've had the same error 3 times are you sure it's not your handwriting?:p
