Vatican used Wikipedia for new cardinals' biographies

They weren’t the first and they won’t be the last to use Wikipea as a trusted source of information. It’s just another boring news snippet.
 
This made me chuckle a bit, you would think with all the money the had they could do something that simple properly.

The unofficial biographies were done in haste as the head of the Holy See Press Office explained they had been given no foreknowledge of the appointments...the unofficial status was explained to the journalists at the time.

It seems hardly worth reporting tbh.....


I can see this degenerating into another anti-religion thread however, regardless that it would have nothing to do with the OP.
