£110.00 to spend on a graphics card

i have 110.00 to spend on a new card i maybe able to stretch it a little but i want some advice on the best card i can get in this price range.

any help and advice would be great and thank you.

thank you i like the look at the 460

my system specs are

Q6600
8 gig 1066 ddr2 ram
750 watt psu
evga 760i *** mobo

wow the 6850 looks better in the benchmarks

at lower resolutions yes but at typical hd res 1920 x 1680 its better also the 460 will overclock better (typically)

but it really depends on what res you play and and what games you plan on playing

i play world of warcraft and everquest and swtor

then flip a coin since both cards will run those on ultra easily at 1920x1080 but nvidia supports most those games better driver wise.

also unless im mistaken the motherboard you have supports sli (nvidia multi card) in case you ever wanted to throw in 2 cards in the future.

i am tempted to go for the nvidia one that way i could use my BFG 9600gt as a PhysX card? would that be worth considering ?

ill let some one who has more experience using a card for physx only to answer that one for you as ive always used ati yet here i am pushing for a nvidia weird eh

Not worth it I don't think. Sometimes it can slow things down! The GTX460 will handle it alone don't worry

thank you all i am very greatfull for the help revived and the advice given i am going to go for the EVGA GeForce GTX 460 Superclocked 1024MB @ £119.99 inc VAT extra tenner wont hurt.
