K1LL is right, Giovinco is a pain. Giovinco's lack of strength does not hinder him at all and if used in the right hands Giovinco can be lethal. K1LL's team may look cheap but it plays incredibly well, very well balanced. In fact most of the teams he makes which are fairly cheap are the teams that are bloody hard to beat and it's not even caused by Fifa's handicapping system.

One thing I have to ask though Sonny, why is it that you talk about different formations and players suits different players so it's hard to recommend to other people yet you could tell K1LL that Santon, Cisse is better when you don't know his playstyle for this formation? Also isn't K1LLs strikers very similar to what you use? Dzeko/Ibra for heading and Aguero/Pato for pace,dribbling and shooting.
 
Managed to get myself a budget-ish EPL side for super cheap:

Hart
Richards - Kompany - Vermaelan - Evra
Song
Young - Bale
RVP
Torres - Aguero

Gonna get normal Vidic at CB for Vermaelan and probably sell Torres, move RVP up front and get Silva.

edit: Actually, how good defensively is the IF Richards? Could do him at CB...

IF Richards is apparently very good, I haven't used him before though.

I have found though when playing against him and he's at CB, although he's a brick to get past and wins everything in the air, he just doesn't seem to have that positioning sense of a CB. I tend to exploit the gaps he leaves. Not sure if that's a fault of his card, or the plaeyrs I've played against (3 max I think).

It's worth a go though surely. Unfortuantely the EPL aren't blessed with many great UT CB's.
 
I did like Ferdinand and Kompany but fancy a change. Thinking an end product of:

Hart
Richards - Kompany - Vidic - Cole
Yaya
Nani - Bale
Silva
RVP - Aguero

would be nice, I like having players that are actually good IRL and that's probably the best 11 in the PL if I get Rooney up front for Aguero when I can afford.
 
I may or may not have been up at 4.

I got Kompany for 5k, RVP for 35k, Aguero for 65k, Young for 10 in 41212, Bale for 20k, not ridiculously cheap but a lot better than they used to be.
 
My 8k points arrived today. Going to open a few packs, can't be bothered waiting for the rest of the TOTY release as I know I won't get anything.

It seems that the TOTY defenders are in packs until Sunday.

So that to me looks like TOTY midfielders next Monday then TOTY attackers the Monday after.

Jesus, EA & Microsoft are really milking this.
