Finally got a 3DS for my son today, and I was just wondering what size SD card it would need. 2gb enough? And, is it a micro SD card? Thanks in advance!

It comes with a standard 2GB Toshiba card in the machine already.

For saves it's perfect; music, demos (not out yet) and videos/pictures are another matter. But just for saves it's more than adequate.

Is that through the Virtual Store thing? How do you download those games once you've paid for them?

They'll appear as "gifts" in the main menu next to your other software. And you unwrap them.

Another quick question, hopefully no too stupid...

Are second hand games worth while on the 3DS? I have a vague memory of reading that they store the save on the cartridge, making second hand pointless, or was that wrong? I'm mainly looking at Pilotwings, and Nintendogs, if that makes a difference.

Second hand is fine mate, it's only resident evil mercenaries that you can't delete the saves.

I got the White 3DS with Mario 3D yesterday. The use of 3D in Mario is absolutely brilliant and the game is almost as good as Mario Galaxy.

It gets better and better. Especially after world 8 I rate 3DS Mario higher than Galaxy now!

Still loving my 3DS, playing it fairly reguarly. To be fair, that may be all down to Zelda. But got Starfox 64 to smash out next, can't wait.

Will need to order Mario and MK 7 soon.

I'm going for a few less sought after games, shinobi and cave story 3D.

Although cave story has held it's value well.

Had a go with my mates and have to say was blown away by the 3D had a quick blast ok the new Mario Kart, but he put on Mario World to really show it off, I was addicted...so...does anyone know of any particularly good bundles or deals on?

Still loving Mario 3D Land, I'm onto the special worlds now. It has such a well balanced challenge catering for both the novice and the enthusiast.
