Ugh, Ive been wrestling for a couple of days over this..
Looking at reviews, recommendations, and I'm getting lost
I have no need for Viewing angle technology, I sit directly in front of my monitor in any-case.
HDMI isn't a issue since Its purely for PC, I don't even own a Console.
I want a 24" but I could settle for 23" If i was persuaded....I'd much prefer 24" though.
Need a 1920x1080.
I've narrowed options down to these:
BenQ G2420HDBL 24-inch
or
Samsung S24A300H 23.6 inch
Which are essentially the same (quality wise) apart from response time correct?
or (VA panel, the 8ms response time worry's me slightly though, since I do play FPS...and looking at reviews its noticeable allot and causes headaches and on BF3 it causes lots of blurring and other graphic flaws due to the response time)
Everything apart from the response time is far superior to the other two monitors from what I've read (apart from the dell)
BENQ EW2420 24 inch
Can get it for 160 odd.
or
Samsung S24A350H
(which I could go to the shop and get right now if I wanted...)
or just bite the bullet and buy the dell ultrasharp 23"
Reviews aren't on its side though....saying its quite a bad monitor with uneven brightness and other issues.
Dell UltraSharp U2312HM
Can get it for 161 pounds on dell with Quidco etc.
I'm open to suggestions, monitor is for pure gaming, FPS(BF3)/MMO's that type of thing. Budget is 160 pounds at the maximum, could go a tad higher but not much.
Don't even know if I should even bother with IPS/VA...or just stick to a regular screen LED backlit.
