True, but I doubt the server could adaptively change the map size on the fly without that being purpose built into it, which I'm sure Dice haven't done. It might work with Rush mode when you're gradually expanding the map but figuring out what to do in Conquest when somebody leaves and there are other players in the area which gets cut out could be interesting.
 
How the hell am I meant to win 5 games of SQDM when half the time I'm not even in a full squad and its full of premade teams? Its just utter gash, worst mode on the game by far.
 
Either that or join low ticket servers i think some one posted a 2 ticket server? i can't get to grips with the L85 i need that red dot and suppressor! it comes with a Ballistic Scope FFS!!?

Don't get me wrong.. I appreciate BF3 isn't the all singing, all dancing game some lead us to believe.. but your point(s) are a bit contradictory ;/

You played BF2 right? :p

The maps on BF3 are tiny in actual play area, lots of empty space around the edes. BC2 did have smaller \ similar maps though.

Btw, do people play with the netcode smoother thing on or off? (or an intermediate?)

Just turned it off on metro and noticed that quite a few of the animations where out of sync, yet pretty much everything I aimed at actually died. Co-incidence or not?
 
That's how it works, lower slider means less client side interpreting i.e. you see them where they actually are rather than "between" points.

At DICE, we will never tolerate cheaters. Life on the battlefield can be harsh, especially when you’re up against the fantastic flying duo. But it should never be a case of you losing because someone is outright cheating.

We have always taken cheating seriously. Starting today, we will further intensify our efforts to hunt down and rid Battlefield 3 of cheaters. Stats wiping and banning this disruptive minority is the only way they will understand that they are ruining the game for others. We do this for the millions of dedicated players out there who deserve a fair game, every game.

If you believe you have been the victim of outright cheating, the best way to report your concerns is to go to Battlelog, enter the profile page of the person you suspect and click thetriangle in the top right corner of his name.

This will open up a window where you can describe to us at DICE what happened. Please enter as much detail as possible, describing what specifically makes you believe this player has used unfair methods, and preferably include a link to the Battle Report for the match in question.

These reports are then received by our analysts here at DICE who will do a deeper analysis of the situation and take appropriate action, including stats wiping and/or banning players who are confirmed as cheating.

Reducing the number of cheaters is an ongoing endeavor, and one that we will never stop. Thanks for your co-operation, and see you on the battlefield!

Yet 1 month later reported hackers/cheaters are still playing, punkbuster suxx for example. :confused:
 
Stats wiping is pointless, it may be a reason for some but most cheaters cheat because they have a GOD complex.

The only way is to outright ban all of them, if they want to cheat again, frankly it would be nice revenue for Dice, they would buy the game again and get banned again. :cool:

NO, this is a new account / productkey / PB GUID.
His old account has been globally banned. So not just a PBBan or GGC ban.

But, as your Originname is your soldiername, you just have to enter a new BF3 productkey to play again.
As long as EA does not ban his Origin / EA acount cheaters can revive themselves with new productkeys.

Pretty simple.

It came up a a "Multi Kill", not seen one of those since the UT days :D
