Respawning via the medical probe would likely have given enough time to get to a guard, or a re-log & immunity timer definitely would have. There's always a choice.

I don't gank my friend, I kill the gankers. But we need the gankers to generate drama & interest, to add emotion to a game, to give people something to fight for & against.

But if you were on my server, and cried about bullying, I'd likely corpse camp you for a giggle ;) Which server are you on by the way? ;)

Not got any voice chat stuff installed atm but can easily correct that. Don't own a mic (and probably never will) but i can listen :p
 
Every time I ever feel like trying a PVP server, I'll remind myself of cH4k's attitude and remember to steer well clear.


Suggestions that the game is being rendered server side and streamed is bordering on the faintly ridiculous Such an implementation would have been exposed by lag, high bandwidth use and MUCH smaller client side installation size, even with all the sound assets stored locally. Not to mention the massive hardware investment EA/Bioware would have to make to render the game for each of the million(?) or so reported subscribers. Create a Freerealms account and compare it's client bandwidth and installation footprint to see how a browser based game performs against SWTOR...

Stating the game gfx has been hamstrung for performance reasons client side actually stays within the realm of reasonable logic, regardless of how much we don't like it.

So you stay on a PvE server where you swap my attitude towards PvP with the general attitude of elitism on how far progressed guilds are in PvE. Attitudes the same on both types of server just both have different goals.
 
But if the graphics suck for client performance reasons why not simply give us the choice.

It's not like people can't turn down the texture quality if it runs like a dog - it makes no sense.

The RSS feeds on my phone has a post from Community manager Stephen Reid saying they have set textures to low for performance reasons. Only in cinematics are they set to high. However, in patch 1.2 they are going to enable chars near you to be rendered in high too. (Note, chars not backgrounds)

Sorry wab I know you are in a relatively big guild, but at the end of the day you're guild is nothing, never really achieved anything have you? Never been the best? Like I said wish we were on the same server as you as I'd have your whole guild in emo tears from owning you so bad.

It's true but I guess as you're just another nobody guild you've never seen what it's like at the top.

Also resorting to an age comment, that is fantastic.

TBH I wouldn't say any guild has achieved anything atm in the game. Until some sort of progression chart comes on the web, we have no real way of checking status's of guilds or the members

I said never really achieved anything which was aimed at the life cycle of the guild, more to do with past than present.

The only comment really related to SWTOR was the fact I wish we were on the same server so I could cause his guild to drown from all the emo tears I would cause.

The comment about never seeing what it is like at the top is also a comment not relating to SWTOR.
