It should be the third pin from the left on the botton row. Pins 1 & 2 from the left on the bottom row should both be orange + 3.3 volts. The missing pin on the top row is correct as that is no connection.
The fact that you have a spare black wire (probably ground) and neither of those are for ground says you have not just got that in the wrong place. Start again! Green is usually PWR_ON, Orange 3.3, red 5v, yellow 12v, NC should be the only empty one.
I read a build log somehwhere a guy was commenting on how he couldnt understand why the corsair ATX connector had two missing pins instead of the usual one... I dont know for sure that this pin came from the ATX connector, I sleeved one cable at the time and spent quite a lot of time trying to get the pins out.. some wouldnt come out but I may have loosened this wire and its come loose by itself..
does anyone have a photo of the corsair HX series ATX plug?
