Of course it concerns him. He's not defending the actions you're describing. His point is that neither thing should happen. It's not an either or question - either we wee on the enemy or they torture and rape our soldiers.

When you have killed them what is the use of anything more; you already took away everything they had and were going to have had they lived, there is nothing more to achieve. It's not their dignity you take away, it would be your own that you loose for doing such a thing.

What would have to make it happen for something to be unacceptable?

Conversely does that mean if the Taliban did something which a US soldier was doing would that be acceptable?

You and others have a twisted sense of morality. I don't care what the Chinese do to their citizens or the war crimes that go on in Sudan, it does not make any difference to how wrong the crimes committed by US (or British) soldiers. It is against the law and against anyone's moral code.

Well, the justice system already punished the soldiers in the US. Almost gave them the death penalty.

I just hope they don't get a politically motivated parole.

I of course hope that anyone committing war crimes on any side gets what they deserve.

Have you ever been to war? Have you ever been shot at? Have you ever seen any of your friends blown up? The marines may have been under loads of stress we don't know? they may have ####### over dead body's as a way to unwind? Just saying like! It's WRONG but we don't know all the facts do we?
