hello all just ordered the Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Intel Z68, any thoughts on this, reviews seemed good, but be good to hear from any owners, after any tips tweaks or must do's

Got three of the Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 boards, never had any problems with them, no inverted mouse issues, & two of them are o/c to 4.6ghz , & each with 16gb of memory.

This motherboard is just sooooo, ridiculously, insanely, good, I achieved this benchmark at 5.1 GHz on AIR. How can this be possible?

You only have to look at the owners reviews here to see what a fantastic board it is, IMHO the best board on the market at that price point :D

oh dear, if you'd done some thorough research(like hundreds of others), you would have found out that review was totally wrong, they tested a faulty motherboard.
you should have read one of the proper reviews like this http://www.vortez.net/articles_pages/asrock_z68_extreme4_gen3_review,13.html, then you wouldn't have bought an inferior board.

Are you installing the OS to a SSD or a Mechanical Hard Drive ?

yeah SSD

Corsair Obsidian 650D Gaming Midi Tower - Black
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 650W V2 High Performance '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
Corsair Hydro H60 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
Crucial RealSSD M4 128GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive
Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
MSI GTX 570
I7 2600k

Ok only have your SSD connected, no mechanical drives.
Go into the bios and set storage to AHCI.
Set your Ram to XMP profile or set the timmings manually (CAS 9-9-9-24) and set the DRAM voltage to 1.500v.Edit Just noticed your ram Corsair XMS3 may need 1.550v ( but don't set it over 1.575v)
Then follow this order to install Windows 7

Had zero problems with my board after going through 2 asus ones. Really easy to overclock i got mine to 4.8 on a i5-2500k.

I don't remember my pc crashing once with this board.
