Honestly? This has came as a shock. Stop the 18 year old spotty teenagers from playing on facebook while sitting in the police station. (the police... not the criminals)

Shock horror that crime has dropped!

They should stop employing 6 stone teenagers with attitude problems and stop tolerating 45 year morbidly obese officers who sit with coffee and rolls and sausage all day!

Keep fit and healthy adults on the force who want to make a difference and do the job for the right reasons. Not to get paid or as a means to an end.

The world would be a much better place.

I'd need to ask my brother about his points of view on this.
I guess filling paper work would be a valid reason to be in the station? I know my brother has had to go in on days/evenings off becuase he hasn't had the chance to do the paper work while on duty. Flat mate was a special, basically just working the drunken friday/saturday night shifts again paper work was filled in while not on duty. But I suppose the paper work is a whole different debate!

But the news isn't overly racist or hate inducing, so I can live with that article.

Plus I live in one of his areas, so I'm all for it, great news IMO.

I feel for the police officers who've had a massive shift in the way they conduct their jobs since this, but it should have been part of their job description...
