Can I force Vsync in the Nvidia control panel and still retain smooth mouse movements? I had to disable it in the in-game menu because it was simply unplayable.

Steam forums said:V-sync on my machines in-game has caused a bit of sluggish behavior, but forcing it through the NCP sorted it...
Yeap disable in game and force in your control panel, though I wonder you could have tested this quicker then making a post![]()
From what I've read on previous deals it will work fine when disabled in-game and forced on in NCP.
Both games are great Dead Space2 is the best one though & has some incredible edge of your seat ingame engine cinematics & set pieces best played loud on a 5.1 system
It plays like an interactive sci-fi movie & contains some terrific atmosphere also check out EA's official forums as for Dead Space 2 they released an updated .exe for the main game with all suit/weapons DLC for free along with some other goodies.
After you activate Dead Space 2 online grab the exe file from EA Support/Forums then look on there for I believe a special savegame file with all the suit/weapons DLC unlocked.
Beating the game on Hardcore though is a good challenge for the highly skilled players who do not mind beating the game twice
Also the TAGES DRM scheme is decent as it gives you an activation back everytime you activate online once a month so you never get down to 1 activation but still uninstall if reinstalling an OS on either game as they do contact the activation servers to revoke the serial number.

I hate to keep going on about this, but it really doesn't. As a game in itself it's good, but the atmosphere was severely lacking. In the first game it was the little touches like the sound effects and the eerie whispers that enhanced the atmosphere. In DS2, all you get is Isaac swearing every five minutes and the ridiculous Nicole moments that weren't remotely scary.
Once you hit a certain age nothing is scary. The only time I was scared was when I saw hellraiser 1 as a kid. Now at 32 not one movie/game scares me, I just find them entertaining.
