This may seem silly, but i cant find out what/how to fix it.
So i was re-installing windows (I have done this a few times, had a few problems before but they were fixed fairly easily), Got up to where it asked where i would like to install windows, but it couldn't find any drives.

Any ideas on how to reveal the drive to the computer?
Kinda got me baffled, fiddled about with it for about an hour, but didn't want to 'damage' it any further. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Does your motherboard need drivers installed prior to installing Windows? Some do, and come with a disk containing them. You would need to press F6 (IIRC) when prompted to do so by the Windows install.

pretty sure it doesn't, this is the only time iv ever experienced this, and iv re-installed many times.

The computer worked fine before the re-install.

Only got one HDD that has worked perfectly well for a year or so, never had any problems with it.

I havn't touched any hardware or anything, so i wouldn't have suspected a loose cable, but ill check anyway.

This problem is kinda worrying me now :S
