What's the Windows phone of choice?

I'm planning to finally get myself a smart phone.

The choice of handset for iOS or Android isn’t too hand to narrow down (4S, Galaxy S2 or Galaxy Nexus).

Is there a default handset of choice if I decided to go down the Windows route?

Sorry if this is a common question.

Yeah the Lumia 800 is more or less the flagship at the moment. Wouldn't bother with the HTC Titan 2 as 4.7" is too big for an 800*480 screen nowadays and 16MP won't do anything but murder noise (low light) performance. Nothing else major really on the market for WP7 at the moment but then with the Lumia 800 that doesn't really matter.

Had a look at the lumia in a shop today, the clear black screen tech really does make the screen look like it is floating on the top, really beautiful phone, and i have Nokia drive on my phone and it works brilliantly instant fix and directions are flawless.

Out of interest, can Nokia Drive work on other brands of phone? (I.e. is it just an app you can buy?) (It would be in their interest if you could buy it).

I have Drive on my Omnia 7 and it is a very slick app.
I actually use in preference to my tomtom for short journeys.
You need a developer/chevron unlock and version 1.0.0.1101 as they locked it to Nokia phones after that I think.
Nokia Maps and Music work as well.
