Changing German Win7 Home Premium to English most cost effectively?

Hey

A colleague purchased a brand new Samsung laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium from Germany. Apparently you need Ultimate to change languages, which seems like an obscene joke!

Anyway, what's the most cost effective thing to do? Pay for an upgrade to Ultimate; buy a copy of Windows Home Premium in English; or any other ideas?

We've found at least one site claiming to offer a Home Premium - Ultimate upgrade for £35 - but this seems suspiciously lower than Amazon!

What are your thoughts?

I think you can download a Windows 7 ISO from Microsoft. If not, then there are plenty of other sources. If there is a sticker on the laptop with the serial then you could reinstall it and choose English as the language.

The best sollution is to wipe and reinstall Windows 7 Download a virgin copy of 7 oem . A Samsung oem cert which must match the Samsung Bios SLIC 2.1 has to be inserted
Ultra ISO is probably the best vehicle
One then has a copy for all future reinstalls etc etc
