I was saying this to my friend the other day. I wish somebody would release a decent COD clone. I don't class BF3 as a clone as that's a totally different style of play.
We've had a few attempts - Crysis,HomeFront - but they just haven't been as good.
Hopefully some games out this year will have decent MP. There's supposedly a new Medal Of Honour,Ghost Recon,Spec Ops:The line(that apparently has a decent MP).

I've finally managed to get my k/d above 1.0. May not seem that much of an achievement but my k/d took a beating at the start because of the terrible net coding.

BF is definitely not a COD clone.

battlefield has much larger, more open maps, and has a completely different gameplay dynamic with the vehicles etc..

Homefront could have been so promising, but just never quite turned out right

My K: D is stil below 1 - i'm about 0.9 ish, due to going massively negative some games, positives other. As a result it averages out about 1:1 kills / deaths. I can never really get a flow on for some reason. Going to take McLuvins advice and stick some of my matches on reply theatre.

IMO BF3 is a better game. I loved playing it with a few guys off here but nobody seems to play it anymore.

We definelty need someone to clone the cod style and improve on it. Fix the spawns, stop making us play with laggy foreigners, take out stupid death streaks...etc..

Give me a shout next we're both online Soulja and i'll play BF3. I've generally got a couple of friends I can invite in as well. I like that game but i'm utter crap on it. Capture loads of points but end up with 2 kills and 20 deaths!

In my experience everybody just rush for vehicles now and do nothing else.

They nerfed it in the last patch in Dec. Its useless now and hardly anybody uses it.

Is it just me or when you load up MW3 and are at the MP menu does it lag for like 2 minutes? Even the music stutters and you can't click on anything? Has done it since release..

Are you saying i camped it up , answer no , i dont sit in the first corner or the second corner.I patrol a area of the map on the move where the enemy seems to come near , i was thinking the object of MW3 was to get as many kills as possible or am i missing something here

TBH anything is fair game in TDM. We all whinge and complain in game about campers, but when the aim of the game is just to kill people, theres nothing wrong with being a camper - if you can do it well.

I never seem to be able to. I pick what i think is a good choke point and attempt to camp it. One of two things then happen

A) Nobody goes to it and i spend what seems like ages waiting for somebody to come along

or

B) i do find a good spot and people come all the time, but i'll only take out 1 or 2 before people know where I am and make a deliberate effort to come get me and i get taken out.

I've seen Alrik and McLuvin do this, but even when people keep coming back for them, they seem to be able to resist and take them out. I always fail at that part, and thus end up roaming the map getting shot in the back / in the side as i'm rushing about all over the place.
