:(This forum just gets better, even the "Don's" are taking the mikey... Doesn't really matter if he's buying fresh air, it's his money and it's working for him.. and that's not what he was asking in the first place....:rolleyes:

It's often hard to make non herpy derpy decisions though when you're perceiving things incorrectly.

The decisions are often "correct" or at least "right" from your viewpoint, but your view point is wrong so the decision is actually ********.
I understand that.
I dunno what exactly you mean by Herpy derp but surely irrational thought is a product of depression and not a cause.
Yes, I just get the distinct impression that for some individuals if they overdo the baked potatoes it will be because of their depression.

That's exactly what I was trying to say! But people like DAnDan can't understand it...

Sorry, but it's not that I don't understand it. I understand it perfectly. All it is, is that you're wrong.

Yes, it's good that he's got something which he thinks is helping him, but the means he is using is simply not acceptable (to put it bluntly).

You just don't seem to be able to understand this. No matter how many times I say it.

The British Homeopathic Society has already been suggested as the first port of call if he feels that a homeopathic company has been less than honest in its dealings with him as they should either be able to take action against the company or advise him further about his options. What he chooses to do with that information is up to him but the thread appears to have taken a diversion into being about the general merits (or lack of them) to homeopathy.

That's your opinion! We are not all sheep:o

Sheep? Care to explain? I find that ironic, as I can only assume you are in support of homoeopathy, which would make you the sheep, by your own judgement.

I'm not the one following blindly into a cult with not only no proof, but a mound of proof against it.

I can't help if you're too much of a sheep to see that.

i take it he means they blame every mistake on being depressed.

like those people that go "It's cause I'm dyslexic" at everything they **** up by being stupid.

Oh right. I see what he meant now.

I don't really have any experience with anyone suffering from depression so I have no idea how common that is? It's probably true with any genuine illness though, there will be people using it as a sort of scapegoat to excuse themselves from certain things. At the same time, I'd guess the vast majority of people suffering from depression don't do this however.

I'm simply trying to convey OP's situation without expressing my own opinion, how can I be wrong? The thread isn't about the credibility of homoeopathic medicine, but since you care so much about it, why don't you go make your own thread and stop trying to hassle OP into losing something that is good for him in terms of his health! You're naive enough to believe that your opinion is the absolute truth and no-one is right but you, it's incredibly annoying.

This. Thread's been answered, discussion has moved on.

Also, tiny amounts of good stuff dissolved repeatedly in relatively huge quantities of water to "increase" its potency. What part of that doesn't deserve mocking? It's worse than young-Earth creationism.

Have you not read any of what people have been saying about homoeopathy? Recommending it to people is wrong, that's not my opinion, it's just fact.

Simple.

Without necessarily disagreeing with your view on homoepathy, you're wrong.

What you consider morally wrong is your opinion and not a fact.

So you're saying it's fine to allow a depressed person to be conned out of £6000 a year for water?

And you also believe it's fine to propose homoeopathy to people?
