Here is my system spec as it stands:

Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth P67 B3 Rev
CPU: Core i5 2500K
CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H60
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz
PSU: Coolermaster Silent Pro 1000W
Graphics: MSI GeForce GTX 580 OC Twin FrozR II 1536MB
Sound Card: Asus Xonar D2X 7.1
HDD: OCZ Agility 3 120Gig
Case: Coolermaster HAF 912

I was hoping at some point to go for SLi but after looking at the room between the sound card and the second PCI-express slot I'm not sure if its going to be possible not only because of room but also air flow. My current GTX 580 has hit a max temp of 91 degrees (after 3 hours of BF3) so I am in the process of adjusting my air flow but adding another card will surely be an issue.

Can anyone shed some light on to my query and suggest anything to help

It should be fine.

the HAF is a good case, the mobo has plenty of space and if you add an antec spotcool you should be fine :)

Whats an Antec spotcool (is that a noob question lol). I m glad I have people saying I made a good choice in case. I researched and read up so much on my choices so I could get the most from my money for the system I wanted. Although I origionally wanted 2x570's but due to the shop I went to taking so long I refunded those cards and went with the GTX 580 thinking I can get another if I need to at a later date

Oh also the soundcard sits in the bottom slot of the mobo which is why Im asking about space. It looks like a second gtx 580 wouldnt fit above but really needs the space the soundcard has

Ah right so its a fan on a stick lol. Designed to be positioned where you need it I guess. What are the noise levels like on those things though as Im trying to keep the PC as silent as possible. Im away at the moment but could get a photo uploaded some time this week

Try get a refrence 580 if you can as you dont want two cards dumping all there heat in the case

But yer that will be fine :)

they're really quiet :)

If your soundcard is PCI then you wont be able to have it installed with SLI. I looked at the sabertooth but didnt go for it because i couldnt use my X-Fi with a pair of cards installed.

Hmmmm thats crap lol. I got the sound card because I wanted better sound quality for my Razer Charcaris headset. However I could try with just onboard sound and see how that sounds and possibly sell the sound card and go sli

Yup try the onboard sound but if you do need a dedicated card then theres always the PCI-E x1 slot above the first GFX card slot if you could change your card for a PCI-E soundcard
