best way to find someone online you know very little about

i met a girl randomly a few days ago and foolishly didn't get her details so i could get in touch. i know very little other then her first name, where she went to college, her age, and 1 of her friends name and that's literally it.

although it may seem like finding a needle in a haystack with very little to go on, knowing the college she goes to should help narrow it down as i can't imagine there are many females at her age with her name that go there.

I've looked on Facebook but getting no where as it only likes to show people that know someone you know. i just simply want to look for someone with first name this, goes to this college, and is this age, and female.

any ideas what i could try to fid this person? because i met this girl on my own it's not like i can ask a friend who knows her for her info. to be brief and explain why i don't have more details is her friend came along and it all got really rushed and we had to separate before i could really realise i don't know this persons number or even last name.

lol already trying after seeing that image in random pic thread but so far doubtful as i don't have a picture, just hair colour, skin colour and rough size is all i can really give.

You can search on Facebook. Just chap in her name at the top, and then on the new page go to 'People' and then enter her place of education in the appropriate box.

What's her name, and where does she go to school? I'll find her.

the lengths? doesn't seem like a massive amount of work to find someone. seems like in this day and age anyone is 2 clicks away so taking advantage of sites like facebook to do what they are there for.

perhaps the issue is i've summarised so it seems different to how it really was. doesn't seem wrong to want to get in touch with someoen i hit it off with. had we not been rushed away at the end i'm sure we'd have swapper details

shouldnt be too hard, met a girl on a night out, only told her my first name and when i got home she had somehow found me on facebook and added me!

yeah exactly wasn't the case but i get you don't know much cos it not needed.

i don't understand how this facebook works tbh. i know a different girl with the same first name that's friend of a friend that i haven't added on facebook as only add people i know know. when i search with her first name and her college (differnt one) i don't get her coming up either, even though facebook is always saying add this friend on the side of my page.

You said you also know her friends name, chances are they went to the same college, so search for her. Then if u find anyone who sorta matches, and their friends list is available to see, then have a look through to see if any of the profile pics and name match the girl your looking for.

Or, put in a random common first name, then go see more results. Then filter the results by eduction, and search by college name. Then look through those peoples friends list if not hidden for the girl your looking for or the friend.
