Any Corsair H60 owners ?

Just wondering if we have any H60 cooler owners.

i just built my system and now sure if i have an issue with the H60, i believe there is some fan or pump under that sits on the cpu (behind the cover) are you getting any noise from yours? as mine seems quite loud and like a bearing has gone or something?

I have, it was used in an HTPC too and was driving me ******* mad, it seems to be an issue with the pumps on these. Slightly slackening off the mounting bolts seemed to quieten it but not enough.

oh dear that's my issue then, shame as it looks cool :)
 
I got one recently and it does make a noise but not too loud, although I don't have a silent build or anything so would probably get annoying if you were running it in a silent/HTPC build.
 

Read through the comments underneath the vid, there are some good suggestions to try, it could be trapped air or something to do with the speed control on the CHA_FAN header.
 
I have had 2x H60's which both had noisy pumps. Both went back for a refund.

Then bought an H80 which promptly failed after 20mins of use.

Have a look on the Corsair forums. The support staff cant really put a finger on the problem and recommend just returning it.

Great idea, and it does work well, but the failure rate is horrendous.
 
Ive got one and I remember as i pressed pay I was reading all the negative comments - however Imay of been lucky because mines silent as anything lol.
 
Got a H60 at the moment until my custom loop stuff turns up and its extremely quiet. Had it since april as well.
