I killed him in a jet as he was about to take off and then there was an incredible amount of rage.

If the server allows something, i'm going to take advantage of it.
Why would i not do something which gives a massive advantage to the team if it's allowed on the server? If you don't like it, leave and play on a server where it's banned.

I'm sorry, you're comparing the bombing of Pearl Harbour with basically camping a spawn in a video game, seriously? I've read some stuff in my time but that takes the biscuit!

Base raping where someone's sat not moving is one thing, but when you're in a jet and you notice one of theirs starting to roll down the runway I don't really see the problem with taking them out.
It obviously induces serious amounts of rage with some people, which then means I'll start shooting stationary jets as well because I know it annoys them

Lol. I do, but when i see fellow ocuk'ers at it i get annoyed sometimes. Then i end up thinking im as bad as them, and im just sitting in procon reading it all.
I don't try to enforce many rules really, just play fair and don't be a willy. No map exploits. Anything else is too hard for me to control on my own.

I have to say that whilst LtMatt's server sounds a laugh (with the whole community thing), the allowing of base rape means I have never joined it. I only get a couple of hours gaming a week, and spending that trying to get out of a base doesn't appeal! I don't have SOFLAM, Javelin or even a Stinger before you mention them!
