I presum you won't be trying to game on it?!

In which case, they'll be the same, practically speaking. Go for whichever is cheaper or whichever one has more of the features you'll want

i would be gaming but at low/mid settings , it's for when im on holiday..

i've been seeing reviews on youtube about these cards and it seems they can handle gaming at low/mid settings

just want to which is better?

Myself, if possible I would try to find a laptop with a llano cpu/apu inside. They should be pretty budget and perform about as well as a HD3850. I'm currently using a 3870 and it's still a decent card, should do pretty well on a laptop resolution :)

MUCH better than what you had previously listed.

Both the HD6370 and GT520m are hopeless from a gaming point of view. The latter of the two, the GT520m, has only 48SP and a 64bit memory interface.

The 555m in the laptop you are getting *should* have 144SP and a 128bit memory interface with GDDR3 memory. It won't be quite as fast as the GT555m in the Alienware M14x but it will be close enough.
