Its my sons birthday comming up and he had mentioned he would like an indoor helicopter.

I don't have a clue as to what's and what's not. I don't want to be spending a fortune as it will not be his main present.

Any advice?

A decent one is at least £25-£40.

I bought one last year, lasted about a month before I crashed it and it broke

If he wants a 'toy' one get a Syma S107G. If he wants one to start out with flying proper model heli's with, look at a Heliguy Atom FP :)

I have seen the yellow S107G for £12 the red is £24. My brother got me one for xmas. They are great fun. Only downside is it takes 45 mins to charge the helicopter and you get 7 minutes flying time before it needs recharging.
