Oh dear, Russell Howard's show is crap.

Couldn't get into it, it just wasn't funny so I'm not surprised. It had a following but not main stream enough.

I thought this was kind of the point of BBC Three.

Season 2 was utterly terrible, it was hardly funny and a serious lack of episodes!. The time between season 1 and 2 was too long as well.

Season 1 had me in stiches at a few times

Some of it was funny but I hated the onslaught of subpar jokes that clogged up the episodes like the clip above. It's what ultimately turned me off family guy.

The one bit that springs to mind is when the lead fox got brutally rejected by the dog on new years eve, that really was funny.

I didn't think this was anything too special when I saw the first few episodes, but this is made to look like Shakespearian levels of writing compared to Lee Nelson's show.

That's the key part. It's basically one joke stretched over a series of 30 minute episodes. Maybe this character would work in 30 second bursts on a more vibrant sketch show, but the material is far too poor for the screentime it commands.

I only saw the pilot of the lee nelson show but I thought it was pretty good. It wasn't all obvious chav humour but there were some pretty clever jokes in there as far as I recall, also he was speaking to an elderly audience member about the war.... Anyway I remember it being good

Lee Nelson is okay - But it does drag on a bit - I also have found it is quite loved by older people rather than younger people. My dad thinks it's great The sketches he does in it are quite funny, but the rest of the show tends to bore me
