One or both of the cats from our neighbours directly opposite us is/are now using our flower beds as their personal cat toilets. This is unacceptable. I recently put down new mulch/bark and I wonder if they think it's kitty litter or whatever the hell it is that cats normally poo into and then dig holes to cover.

I need some tips on how to stop this. I don't like cats - especially ones that crap in my recently barked/mulched flower beds - so give me your best shot.

Get one of those catapult thingys, place a stone in it, draw back with 90% of your strength and that cat won't ever bother you again. Big enough stone and you've even more compost!

Well, it ain't going anywhere is it? OP, next time it does it, just dig it in and then in a few weeks you're sorted!

Do I use too many commas?

The super soaker idea is win. I suggest water, as molten lead will melt the super soaker and cause horrific scars to appear all over your hands.

I should have been more clear. This happens every day. The mulch/bark ends up on the drive as the cat kicks it away from the bed, there's a great big bloody hole next to the flowers where the cat has moved the mulch/bark from, and then there is a crap sitting next to my plants like some kind of crap-cherry on top of a cake

Had same problem a few years back, my solution was simple.

Went to local cat & dogs home, borrowed a cat trap, baited it with some fish & placed it where cats were crapping.

Took a few day to catch both cats, but I did, then I got a friend who was going to Scotland, some 500 miles away to take them & release them there.

They never came back.:D

Haha, like it!

I have a similar problem with the neighbours cat. We have a mutual hate relationship (the cat, not the neighbours) and I've not done much more than just chase him off when I see him.

Time to ramp up the hostilities methinks!
