This was my instant reaction to this, I think anyone else saying otherwise is in denial... The game is clearly not dead as plenty of people are re subbing however I don't think they are anywhere near the numbers they were anticipating so getting another month out of people makes business sense with patches coming out within the next month and also the idea of getting something unique appeals to a lot of people.

That may be, but I think there are more people upset and not even paying for their first month than I can remember for some time in an MMO. (From what I'm reading)

i expect it wont be much longer until they offer everyone who doesnt have a sub a 7 day trial or something

Hi folks,

Just in case you missed it, we added the following to the Known Issues thread earlier today:
Anti-aliasing is currently disabled for ATI 6900 series graphics cards.
Holograms will disappear during conversations if players modify their preferences to turn off bloom while anti-aliasing is on.

To give you all some more insight, the ATI issue is due to a severe graphical glitch and we are in discussions with ATI to resolve this. Thank you for your patience.

Love how people are already leaving the game after a month or two :S In my opinion its because most have come from WoW and probably expecting it to be 100% the same right off the bat.

As many have said Im still enjoying the game and im only level 34, havent even tried pvp yet as im too busy going through the story line.

Nope. Always the same I'm afraid, those who complain do so loudly and on multiple forums. Those who enjoy the game tend to be playing it ;)

For the record, I'm enjoying it & am subbing. But then I didn't rush to 50 then complain there was nothing to do, I haven't played 10 hours per day then complained I was burned out and bored, I don't have an expensive 'rig' and realise this is a mmorpg so haven't complained that the graphics don't look better than anything I've ever seen before ;)
I've just played it casually, with several alts on 2 servers with my only intention to play a game & have fun. In fact I've just restarted again on another server because I've found some old guildies from another game on there - so I guess some of us will be around a bit longer :)

Wrong, I come from more "hardcore" grindy games... I played WoW yes but feel it has dumbed down the MMO genre much like CoD and the FPS genre. If anything I feel it's too much like WoW.

most of us are used to far more complete games at launch such as

EQ2 , massive world , massive content , guild leveling right off the bat , guild rewards , lore quests , tons of raid content , tons of dungeons.

warhammer online , tons of zones , tons of pvp with meaningful objectives , tons of classes that are completely different from each other.

SWTOR , barely any areas , barely any dungeons , guild is just a chat room , waste of time boring raid bosses , every class feels the same , no balance at all on the servers even the pvp ones...

we'll just let the sith out the other faction by 5:1 FACEPALM (even wow got that right.....)
