Been off busy for a while and just wanted to pop on and check everything and I can't get on the server as its still 1.0 I think? How do I put it back? :( Just got 2 new SSD's so I reinstalled everything.

All the usual reasons for choosing an admin. She has also been an admin for other (not MC) servers previously.

Amount of time someone has been playing on the server has very little (almost nothing) to do with it.
 
If I type what I am thinking, I will probably get banned from the server so I shall not continue... :rolleyes:

If you're thinking what I think you're thinking then you should probably calm down.

We will be bringing more admins on in the near future. If you have any problems with anyone then direct them to me personally (via PM) and I will respond.

I disagree with the choice tbh, I've been an admin on other servers, but that doesn't mean I'd be a good admin on here (no I don't want to be admin). I think that there could be a better choice of admins, as I believe Nutty would make a good admin but it is not my place to judge the choice of the admins, congrats Safron.
 
Nutty already mentioned before he didn't want to be an Admin :p

But again if anyone has any concerns please pm one of us. As FT said more admins will be joining the team in the near future and may seem like more "obvious" choices. We need a variety of skill sets rather than just MC geeks like myself :p
 
Robosprog wrote exactly what I mean. There are plenty of other people who would like to be admins (I would hate to be one), but basing a choice on past admin experience is a bit strange to me. But like Robo said, I can't be one to judge :p

I don't understand why you have the map borders in place anyway. It's really hard to find an empty slot of land that is completely untouched, and it's becoming very hard to find some things, such as unsheared sheep.

In the Nether it's almost impossible to find Glowstone now due to the borders, but there are visible amounts of beyond the borders.
 
Is Safron that foreign girl? *This isn't meant in any sort of negative way, just wondering if it's the player I think it is.

FT has been looking at a plugin to make a more entertaining and vast nether which will have plenty of glowstone! I believe he is waiting on 1.1 before investing too much time into all for it to "maybe" go down the pan.

We limit the worlds as some players like to go on 5-6 hour journeys which makes the map files huge, cartos unbearable and vast wasted land. The worldborder will probably be expanded soonish so players can have their own space.

As for the animal issue maybe I can go about and spawn some random herds of animals ready for the slaughter :D

Yes she was born in Sweden I believe but has been in the UK for many years.
